It is important to purchase the correct size cage for your animal. The following instructions can confirm that the animal has enough room to move normally while standing, sitting, and lying down naturally.
How to measure the size of cats and dogs to choose the appropriate pet carrier:

Pet cages that do not meet the following dimensional guidelines or do not meet International Air Transport Association (IATA) specifications will not be accepted for carriage:
The measurement index is as follows:
A. From the tip of the nose to the base of the tail
B. From the front elbow joint to the ground
C. Width of the widest two points
D. From the ground to the tips of the ears or from the ground to the top of the head, whichever is higher. (When the animal is standing normally, the ears should not touch the top of the cage.)
Approximate pet box dimensions
Length = A + ½ B
Width = C x 2
Height = D
(The above is the inner diameter size of the pet box)
